The Seven Kingdom Titles

Does man know his identity? His purpose?
Where he came from and where he is going?

Man’s life is full of frustrations and struggles because he does not know the whole truth.  You can only discover the whole truth when you rediscover the kingdom.

My dear friend, welcome to the world of unexplored territory.
Welcome to the unshakeable Kingdom of God!

The kingdom that has no end,
The kingdom that knows no boundaries,
The kingdom that has no shortage,
The kingdom that cannot be influenced by any power outside of it.

This is a truly unforgettable and a very special day for you because you will finally “rediscover” your identity. It was hidden from you for millions of years but now it will be revealed to you by the Great King in Heaven.

Today, you will be made known not only in this planet but also to the heavens above. When I speak of heavens, I am referring to the three heavens:

Today, you will be recognized in the kingdom of heaven. The word ‘recognize’ means to identify someone who was previously known. And anyone who is recognized is entitled to speak. Thus, you have the right to speak publicly. Anyone can speak privately but not everyone can speak publicly.

Today, you will be acknowledged. To acknowledge means ‘to accept’. When you are acknowledged, Satan has no choice but to accept who you are.

You will be personally introduced by the King, who owns the kingdom, before the very hosts (angels) of heaven, before earth (men) and before the heavens (the devil or Satan). 

Jesus was introduced personally by His Father; the Great King of Heaven and his life has never been the same when he was recognised. He was empowered. He received gifts- the gifts of wisdom and knowledge. These are the greatest gifts man could ever receive. If you have these gifts, nothing is too hard and impossible for you. Solomon got these gifts and since power manifests by these gifts, that made Solomon a very powerful king. Even wealth follows these gifts and that made Solomon a very wealthy king as well.

In this world, it is the display of wisdom and understanding that makes the difference. The product of understanding is idea, and idea is “power”. This is what makes man wise in solving problems. The same with the idea in technology, it makes the likes of Bill Gates and Warren Buffet wealthy. Solomon became a very famous king because of his wisdom. As the bible says, even the Queen of Sheba came from the ends of the earth just to listen to Solomon’s wisdom.

The queen of the South will rise up in the judgement with this generation and condemn it, for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and indeed, a greater than Solomon is here.

Matthew 12:42

In this world, being ‘recognized’ is not always easy. When Jesus was recognized, the devil was after him. When Peter was recognized, the devil was also after him. The same thing with Job, when he was recognized by the Great King of Heaven, it was not also easy for him.

But, do not worry. When someone is against you, there is also someone beside you, the Great King of Heaven, who is far greater than the one who may be against you!

Today, my friend, is not only your ‘recognition’ day but also your “Commencement Exercise”. Commencement means beginning, not the end. This is the beginning of knowing fully who you are in the kingdom.

Prior to this, your life was empty because you have no identity and no sense of purpose. You do not know your origin as well as your destiny. You may have tried everything in life but everything was in vain. You may also be in the wrong area of success…success in business, in career, in politics, in sports, etc. but still there is something missing.

This is because the only true success can only be found in line with your purpose in the kingdom of God. So today, brace yourself for the next you!

BELIEVER

The first step to get into the unexplored territory of the kingdom of God is to become a believer. How do we know that a person is a believer?

First, he is a doer of the Word of God. Whatever is written in the Bible, he lives by it. A person is not a true believer if he is not a doer of the Word.

Second, there must be a transformation in his life. Transformation is defined as the state of being transformed or changed in ‘character’ (i.e., from the character of the devil to the character of God). Man is created in the very nature of the character of God. But when man fell to sin, he was influenced by the devil in terms of his character. That is why he needed to be transformed.

You may believe in God but still not be considered a true believer because people who believe in God are not necessarily ‘doers’ of the Word of God. You may believe but still not be a believer, because a real believer is a doer of the Word. It is always easy to believe but is hard to be a doer of the Word.

A believer is also an established person and a ‘tested’ one. He is not easily shaken. As a believer, your belief does not come from God but from you. It must be a product of your personal decision. God will not force you to believe, he will just help you do it but the final decision belongs to you, whether you believe or not. You’ve got to earn this first title! Once you earn this one, the next six titles will come from God, not from you anymore. In other words, it will be ‘conferred’ to you.

But it is a sure way to get something. People define faith in line with the concept of “risk” because they don’t understand about the principles of the kingdom. In Filipino, they call it “basta!” which in English means “just”. But there is no such thing in the kingdom. Jesus easily operated His faith because He understood the principles of the kingdom. He never risked His faith. He called the centurion ‘a man of great faith’ because that man understood the principles of the kingdom. 

Now when He conclude all His sayings in the hearing of the people, He entered Capernaum. And a certain centurion’s servant, who was dear to him, was sick and ready to die. So, when he heard about Jesus, he sent elders of the Jews to Him, pleading with Him to come and heal his servant.

And when they came to Jesus, they begged Him earnestly, saying that the one for whom He should do this was deserving, “for he loves our nation, and has built us a synagogue.” Then Jesus went with them. 

And when He was already not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to Him, saying to Him, “Lord, do not trouble Yourself, for I am not worthy that You should enter under my roof. Therefore, I did not even think myself worthy to come to You. But say the word, and my servant will be healed. For I also am a man placed under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes;  and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes  and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”

When Jesus heard these things, He marveled at him, and turned around and said to the crowd that followed Him, “I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!” And those who were sent, returning to the house found the servant well who had been sick.

Luke 7:1-10

What I am saying is that the principles of the kingdom of God had similarity with the Roman government and that is why the centurion understood those principles. The centurion had dialogued with Jesus Christ. It was not easy to have dialogue with Jesus Christ at that time, if you did not understand the principles of the kingdom. Daniel and friends (Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego) may have risked their lives but not their faith because they understood the outcome of their faith.

The problem with the many so-called Christians today is that they quote several verses in the bible hoping to get results but their efforts are in vain because they don’t understand the principles of the kingdom. When you understand the principles of the kingdom you are very calm when problems arise. Just like Jesus Christ, he was so calm when problems arise because he had a solution for every problem.

The principles of the kingdom of God are too much for every problem in this planet earth. If you operate these principles, you are a sought-after person just like Jesus Christ. People are forcing their way into him.

Jesus Christ became man though he was God. He became like us. He operated the power of man, not the power of God which was written…

“Let us make man in our image and our likeness and let them rule.”

Genesis 1:26

So what Jesus exercised was the power of man which was given by God. Therefore, he had no advantage over us, as far as ‘being man’ is concerned. The only advantage Jesus had over us was that he knew and understood every principle of the kingdom. In fact, Jesus said to his disciples:

“I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.”

 John 14:12

So, you see, we can greatly surpass the miracles Jesus has done if only we operate the principles of the kingdom.  This is the most exciting stage in any man’s life in this planet earth, when he begins to operate these principles. No more worries, no more doubts, no more fear, but full of confidence that results in peace and a life loaded with joy. He is never shaken anymore by problems or frustrations and daily pressures in life because he has the keys of the kingdom.

The second step to get into the unexplored territory of the kingdom of God is to become a citizen of God.

CITIZEN OF THE KINGDOM

We are not church members but citizens of the Kingdom. A church member easily leaves the church when he has problems or when he feels uneasy, but the citizen never leaves. No citizen ever forsakes his country whenever he encounters problems. Citizens speak of rights or privileges and benefits.

As a citizen of the Kingdom, you have the right to be protected by the Kingdom. That’s why the Kingdom deploys 12 battalions of armies (angels) of heaven for every citizen (When Peter cut the ear of the servant of the high priest, Jesus rebuked him “Do not do it. Don’t you know that I can ask my Father to send 12 legions of angels?”) One battalion is approximately 6,000 armies. So, that is a total of 72,000 armies for 12 battalions. Imagine you are surrounded by 72,000 armies 24 hours a day to guard you!

It’s only in the Kingdom that men can enjoy security. No government on earth could promise security to its citizens, not even the very powerful countries like America but it is only in the Kingdom where every citizen is secured.  That is how the King loves His citizens.

In the earthly kingdom, citizens can be hospitalized for free but it does not mean that they have the right to be healed. Healing is not assured in the hospital but in the Kingdom, healing is assured for it is your right!

Many Christians today cry for healing to God because they do not know their rights in the Kingdom. They cry for healing, they struggle for healing and they beg for healing. They do not realize that they are entitled to it.

During the time of Jesus Christ, He was questioned when He healed a sick woman on Sabbath, because the Pharisees forbid healing during this day. By the way, the Pharisees twisted the truth about Sabbath – that healing is forbidden. The original concept of Sabbath that came from God does not forbid healing. Healing is allowed even during this day because Sabbath means rest. How can you rest if you are sick? For the Pharisees, it is like they are telling people to enjoy their sickness during Sabbath, and wait for another day for their healing. But for the Lord, it is the opposite- get healed first when you are sick, and then rest! That is the real essence of Sabbath.

When Jesus Christ healed a sickly woman on Sabbath, He was questioned by the Pharisees. And He countered, “Isn’t this woman the daughter of Abraham?” (Luke 13:16). Jesus went for the rights of that woman. With this, the Pharisees could not argue anymore because they understood about the rights. So, if you are sick now, you can claim your right to be healed if you are truly a citizen of the Kingdom.

As a citizen of the kingdom, you also have the right to be blessed. Blessed means consecrated, sanctified, divinely or supremely favored. It means, if you committed a mistake (sin), you have the right to be consecrated (sanctified or purified) if you repent from your wrongdoing. And why do we need to be consecrated? It is because our access to the Father is cut off when we commit sin and when our access to Him is taken away, that means, everything will be cut off from us: the fellowship, provision, direction and protection of our Father and King.

Finally, as a citizen of the kingdom, you also have the right to be blessed financially. When you are blessed, Satan could not interfere with your blessings. He could not steal your blessings because you are supremely blessed. The word “supremely” in this context means “untouchable” by any power outside the Kingdom.

THE SON OF GOD

How does man become a son of God?

That is when he believes in Jesus Christ and repents from his sins.  

Try to imagine that you are the son of God, the Creator of heaven and earth… this makes you dangerous and untouchable because your Dad is the Supreme Authority!

No one and nothing could touch you without His permission. Even your very hair is accounted for. This means that no one could touch the least part of your body, like the hair, without His permission!

Your Father is the owner of the whole universe – He is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the highest-ranking person of the Kingdom, the Son, Jesus Christ is the Chief Operations (or Operating) Office (COO) and we, the sons, are the managers of the Kingdom (the sons are the ones running the family business).

The Son made us “sons” by redeeming and restoring us into His Kingdom. The Son redeemed the sons for them to liberate the whole creation. That is the task of man, who is the son. Adam, the first son, lost the Kingdom when he fell into sin in the garden but the Son, Jesus Christ, regained the Kingdom in the same garden: Gethsemane. Gethsemane means “get same man”! So, when the Son regained this Kingdom, He was given all authority in heaven and on earth. And that authority, He shared it with the sons. As the bible says…

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

(Matthew 28:18-20)

The Son is the perfect image of the Father while the son (man) is the image of the Son. So now, man has a relationship again with God the Father. When man fell into sin through Adam, man became the son of the devil. But this time, he is the son of God again through Jesus Christ. This makes life exciting!  Exciting means you are free from worries, struggles and most of all free from the power of the enemy.

So, when you approach God, you approach Him as your Daddy. This is your direct access to the King of the universe, as a son. If you have problems in life, you can easily share it to Him because He is your Father. You can share to Him even your emotions or anything that concerns you.

You are not only a son, but also you are a co-heir with the Son, which means everything the Son owns, you own it also. The Son owns the whole universe. Imagine the whole universe or the unexplored territory… that is what you own! Sometimes your life is so boring because you don’t know this truth; you don’t know that you are a son of the living God; you don’t know that you belong to the royal family of the King of the whole universe.

The main business of the sons is dominion. It means, they are the controller of the planet earth. As the bible states…

Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” 

(Genesis 1:26)

The sons are the controller of every circumstance in life, controller of nature on earth, and controller of every creation on earth. We, the sons, are in the best and most exciting business here on earth. You don’t have to worry for your provision if you are in the business.  Everything is provided by the Father – the CEO, even your wants!

AMBASSADOR OF GOD

Ambassador speaks of assignment. An ambassador of God is handpicked personally by the King of Heaven to represent Him in another territory. In the Kingdom, the head office is in Heaven and the branch office is the earth. The work of the ambassador is to represent God and His government – the Kingdom, here on earth. The whole government of Heaven is on his shoulders.

When you meet an earthly ambassador, you meet a country. So, when you meet the ambassador of the Kingdom of Heaven, you meet Heaven. The head or the leader of the country does not have to go to another country to introduce his government but he will just send his ambassador to promote it. Similarly, with the Kingdom of heaven, God does not have to come to earth to promote His government but He will just send His ambassador.

You cannot “touch” an ambassador. If you do, it will be a national disaster. You will be against the one who sent him. In fact, you are not only against the one who sent him but also the whole country that sent him. If you “touch” an ambassador of the Kingdom of Heaven, you are not only directly attacking him but you are also attacking the whole Kingdom of Heaven. You may kill the president or other leaders of a certain country but when you do this, you will be against the ones who elected them which are the people.

In the case of the ambassador however, one who is not elected but handpicked or chosen and appointed by the president or the king… if you touch him, you will against the one who appointed him which is the whole government. Therefore, if you touch the ambassador of the Kingdom of heaven, you are only hurting yourself because you will be against the whole Heaven.

Everything is provided for the ambassador. He does not worry for his provision, for his family and even for his debts, if he has. Before he is sent out, the government makes sure that his debt is cleared out. Because once the people of another country where he would be assigned learn that he has an outstanding debt, the reputation of the one who sent him will be tarnished.

The ambassador is never affected by economic crisis where he is assigned because his provision does not come from that place but from the country that sent him. The same with the ambassador of heaven – he does not have to worry about the economic crisis on earth because the provision does not come from here but from heaven. Thus, the ambassador is a worry-free person, a fearless person and a person full of confidence.

The fifth step, to get into the unexplored territory of the kingdom of God is to become a king and priest.

KING AND PRIEST

These two titles, king and priest, are inseparable. It is just like the state and the Church. The state is ruled by the king and the Church is ruled by the priest. They are inseparable. But the devil made it miserable for both the state and the Church by separating them. That is why there are a lot of corruption and wickedness in the government because of the separation of Church and state. Originally, God did not design it that way because the Church is supposed to manage the state. This was His original plan.

“Let us make man in our image and in our likeness and let them rule over the fish of the sea, birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

Genesis 1:26

“You have become kings…”

(1 Corinthians 4:8)

“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood…”

(1 Peter 2:9)

King speaks of territory. Every king has a territory to rule. That makes him powerful. The whole place is under his control. So, man, as a king, is supposed to rule the whole earth because this is his territory. He is the legal ruler here on earth. God rules the heaven, the head office and man rules the earth, the branch office. So, God and man are co-workers, as stated in the Bible. It is a partnership. God partners with man in dominion.  Satan is illegal on earth.  He has no part here. However, it is the man that makes him legal to operate here on earth. Without man’s permission, he is powerless here. Therefore, when man understands his position, he can easily dominate Satan.

The function of the king is horizontal: dominion over the earth. While the priest, his function is vertical: spiritual works- prayer, worship and recruiting citizens to enter the Kingdom. And his standard in the Kingdom of heaven is holiness. Everything depends on this as a priest. If you are a priest, then you are a king. What I mean is, if you are holy, then you can dominate. Your access as a king to the King of heaven depends on your priesthood. The king exercises the ability, the power, the wisdom, and the knowledge of God while the priest manifests the character of God.

Therefore, the two titles are inseparable. The problem with many so- called Christians today is that they don’t understand this truth – the kingship. They do not know that they are kings. So, when they accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of their lives, they are satisfied already. But the original purpose of God for man is not only to be saved but to rule. Life without dominion is incomplete. Life without dominion is boring. Life without dominion is powerless. For the main business of every believer of Christ here on earth is dominion.

Now that you have discovered little by little more about yourself, you are about to enter a deeper relationship with God.

FRIEND OF GOD

This is the highest level of relationship with God and the deepest relationship with God. It is at this level where you discover more about God because if you are in this level, God will disclose to you about the mysteries of His Kingdom. When you pray to God at this level, petition is less and your prayer is more on thanksgiving. Jesus Christ, during His time, spent lesser time on petition but more on thanksgiving. If you are a friend of God, even before you ask Him of anything, He has already given it to you. So as a result, your prayer will be more on thanksgiving.

We do not have His guidance because we have so little understanding about Him. And how can we have much understanding about Him if we do not have a deeper relationship with Him? But if you are a friend of God, success is just normal in your life.

If you are a friend of God, you do not want to do things that would offend Him. Not because you are afraid of Him but because you are ashamed before Him. You do not want to do things that would affect your relationship with Him. There are three kinds of people: First are those who are afraid to commit sins because they are afraid of God. Second are the people who don’t want to commit sins because they don’t want to miss the blessings of God. And third are those who don’t want to commit sins because they are ashamed before God. Where do you belong in these three kinds of people?

If you are a friend of God, you are not ashamed of asking Him of anything. Instead, you are confident because He is your friend, just like our friends here on earth. If we are the friend of God, we do not have to think about how we say things when we ask Him for favor but we just simply ask Him with boldness. That’s what God wants for every man: not to be ashamed before Him when they ask Him for anything, but to be bold and confident. So, let us enter this deepest relationship with God. Remember, if God is your friend, do not ever offend Him. Protect your relationship with Him and He will protect you in every area of your life. If He is your friend, you can approach Him anytime and anywhere and ask Him of anything and He will grant it to you.

BRIDE OF CHRIST

Bride means “a newly married woman” or “a woman who is about to be married”. Now as a Church, we are about to be married. As the bible says…

Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory for the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready…

Revelations 19:7

Jesus Christ will soon marry every believer for the purpose of union and not for sexual purposes. The design of God for man is to have union with Him forever. But it was disrupted by Satan in the Garden of Eden, so man was separated from God. As a result, man struggled in life. But God is determined to restore back man’s position with Him. No one and nothing can abort the purpose of God. His purpose remains forever— that man would soon be united with God through marriage. The benefit of this relationship is that, whatever Christ (the Groom) has, belongs to the Church or the believers (the Bride). It is a conjugal property. By the way, Christ owns everything- the seen and the unseen. He is the heir of the Father, the Creator of everything.

As a bride of Christ, we can no longer enter relationship with Satan. Thus, we can no longer do the things that the world practices in this worldly system that is influenced by Satan. Otherwise, we become unfaithful to our future husband. In the Old Testament, if a woman is engaged to be married and becomes unfaithful, the punishment is that she will be stoned to death. The same with us – if we are engaged with Christ and has become unfaithful to Him, there would be worst punishments that await us. So as a bride of Christ, be faithful to Him.

Now that you have discovered your identity, I hope you can finally begin to function normally- to function as a believer, to function as a son, to function as a citizen of the Kingdom, to function as an ambassador of the Kingdom, to function as a priest and king, to function as a friend of God and to function as a bride of God.

This is so that when you ask God for anything, you know which position to apply. If you ask it by faith, then apply your title as a believer. If you ask for daily provision or an inheritance, use your title as a son. If you apply your rights, then use your title as a citizen of the Kingdom. If you ask for your assignment, then use your position as an ambassador. If you ask for the budget for your territory, then use your position as a king and priest. If you ask for anything, use your position as a friend of God. And if you ask for protection and conjugal property, use your position as a bride of Christ. So, prayer should be very specific as far as these positions are concerned.

We have a lot of prayers that remain unanswered because we do not know how to pray or we do not know how to apply these positions. Knowing your position is very important. For example, say, you are a congressman; you ask your budget or your pork barrel as a congressman, not as a mayor. You can only ask budget for your district where you are congressman. You cannot ask a budget for the whole city which is for the mayor. Sometimes, you commit this mistake by thinking that you are a mayor and yet you ask for pork barrel. And how can the government grant that request? So, with God – if you ask for budget for your territory but you are just a believer and not a king, how can He grant that request to you?

I hope that upon learning this teaching, you begin to be more effective in life and that your frustrations will finally end. Your failure would be avoided and success is about to meet you. May I congratulate you by knowing your identity and by meeting the most important person in your life and that is you. May you function normally in life and help others to also function normally as you apply this teaching in your life.
