The Reality Kingdom

When you ask people: “Which is real, the Kingdom or the air conditioner?” They would quickly answer, the air conditioner! This is because, they can use it, they can feel it, they can hear it, they can touch it and they can enjoy it. But the Kingdom they would say… they could not touch it, they could not feel it, they could not see it, they could not hear it and they could not enjoy it. And that is true. However, if you ask this question particularly to the people of Brunei, “Which is real, the air conditioner or the kingdom? They would answer: “Are you crazy? Of course, the kingdom! For without it, the air conditioner is nothing”. For the Bruneians, their kingdom is the most important thing in their lives. It is so real to them because they are enjoying its benefits.

More so with the Kingdom of God, because this Kingdom is not beyond reach, for it is in man already. Believe it or not, originally, we were in this Kingdom. But when Adam fell into sin, God ejected him from His Kingdom. So, all men came from it. The Kingdom of God is not what we think it is – that it would only come in the future or we need to go to heaven to experience it. It is now available here on earth! That is why when Jesus Christ came, the very first words that He said was: 

“Repent for the Kingdom of God is near”

(Matthew 3:2)

Even in prayer, He taught us to pray.

“Thy Kingdom come,Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”

(Matthew 6:10)

Hence, you do not have to look for heaven to find the Kingdom. It is so real and it is now right here! Unfortunately, man is ignorant about this Kingdom and does not believe in it. How can you believe and enjoy something you do not know? If you do not know the operation or function of a cell phone, it is hard for you to believe in it. And if you do not believe you can use it, you will not use it and you will miss its benefits. It is the same with this Kingdom. In fact, it is more real than anything else we can see here on earth, for it is this Kingdom that controls and owns everything in this planet.
