The Good News of the Kingdom

The good news of the kingdom means the return of the Holy Spirit here on earth.

Hyatt Regency San Francisco, San Francisco, United States

The Holy Spirit used to be on this planet earth before the fall of man, but when Adam fell to sin, the Holy Spirit departed from Earth and was recalled to heaven. The Holy Spirit is the Kingdom of God here on earth. He is the Governor. The word “governor” means ruler, controller, master, Lord or King. Therefore, the Holy Spirit is the most important person here on earth, not your loved ones, not your boss, not your husband or wife, not your family… it is the Holy Spirit!

The Holy Spirit’s purpose on earth is to colonize it. ‘Colonize’ means “develop this planet earth like heaven” or “convert this planet earth like heaven” because originally, the planet earth was the blueprint of heaven. Whatever can be found in heaven, can be found on earth, but after the fall of man, “everything” was lost in this planet. The word “everything” in this context means that the state of heaven was lost in this planet and the work of the Holy Spirit is to bring back that state of heaven here on earth. That’s why Jesus said…

But I tell you the truth: It is for your good that I am going away.  Unless I go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.”

John 16:7

If Jesus will not depart here on earth, he cannot send the Governor, the Holy Spirit, the colonizer. Jesus’ assignment on earth was not to colonize it.  His assignment was to reintroduce the kingdom of God because man lost this kingdom. So, after Jesus reintroduced this kingdom, he sent the Holy Spirit to colonize it. Why reintroduce? Because man lost it, and when you say you lost something, that means you used to have it.

We used to have this kingdom before but we lost it. We used to be in this kingdom, but man was ejected from it when Adam fell into sin. Consider for example the case of a politician. When a politician loses his position, he would automatically be ejected from his office. In the same way, when Adam lost his position, he was ejected from his office which is the Garden of Eden. That is why Jesus said…

“Repent because the kingdom of God is near…”

(Matthew 3:2)

The word “repent” means to change your mindset. Repent also means go back to your original position. Man used to be in the highest position before he lost the kingdom. In the word repent, “re” is a preposition word that means again, and “pent” refers to the highest point of the building (e.g., penthouse). So repent means “go back (again) to your highest position” because man lost this position after the fall.  Romans clearly says…

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

Romans 3:23

‘Fall short of the glory of God’ means fall from his character and fall from his ability. Originally, when God created man, God put in him part of his character and ability, that’s why the bible clearly states…

“Man is the image and glory of God”

1 Corinthians 11:7

Repent also means “complete turnaround”, which means, taking a 180-degree turnaround. When Jesus Christ came, he noticed that man was traveling in the wrong direction. That’s why he said ‘repent’. The fact that we are in trouble, we are in failure, in pain, in destruction is because we are traveling in the wrong direction. And the kingdom does not want us to continue traveling in the wrong direction that’s why one of the most favorite words in the kingdom is repent. God is saying to us ‘travel in the right direction’.

The good news of the kingdom also refers to the restoration of control or power to man. The kingdom was restored to control this planet earth because man was created to rule over and control this planet earth. The Bible states…

Then God said, ‘Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

(Genesis 1:26)

Life on earth is all about power! Power! Power! Power!  Everyone wants power. Those people who have money, though they already have billions, still want power. Those who are in sports, though they are already famous still want power. For instance, Manny Pacquiao, a world-famous Filipino boxer entered politics in the Philippines at the height of his boxing career.

So why does everyone want power? It’s because power is INHERENT in man. It means it is “built-in”. When you bully a man, he reacts because he does not want to be dominated. His original design is to dominate (the creation). Man, however, is not designed to dominate his fellowmen but only the creation and God strictly specified this in Genesis 1:26. Man is not supposed to dominate another man.

The beauty in the kingdom of God is that when man has the Holy Spirit, he has the power to control his circumstances on this planet… and that is really the good news of the kingdom! And who wouldn’t want this good news of the kingdom? Wouldn’t you want to control your circumstances, failures, and struggles?

man has the power to
control
his circumstances on this planet

90% of people in this planet earth die because of stress based on scientific research and what causes us this stress? Lack of control. We worry. We fear. We think endlessly about our problems. Why? Because we lack control.

The Bible forbids worry and fear because it promotes control by means of the restoration of power or control to man through the kingdom. If you have this good news of the kingdom, that is, the power to control, then you become a truly stress-free person. Free from wrinkles, free from aging, free from worry and trouble. That’s the good news of the kingdom!

When you operate this good news of the kingdom, the people will run after you. Why? Because you have the solution to their problems. This is what Jesus Christ operated 2000 years ago, the good news of the kingdom. DOMINION was in him that’s why people ran after him. They even forced themselves into him because he had the solution to their every problem. What he operated was not the power of God but the power of man which was given to him by God. He was not God at that time but an ordinary man, just like you and me. He was no different from us.

This is what the kingdom offers: power and control.

When Jesus first found his disciples, Peter and John (the fishermen), they caught nothing though they fished the whole night given the fact that they were professional fishermen. They probably even had a degree in fishery. Peter probably was saying to Jesus Christ that he had a degree in fishery. But Jesus probably would have said to him in response… “Yes, but you have only one degree. If you have this good news of the kingdom, then you have 360 degrees. This is what the kingdom offers: power and control.”

Dominion was absent in Jesus’ disciples at that time. But when Jesus came to their rescue, he showed them their original position, that is, the power to dominate the fish! “Dominating the fish” means catching many fishes or having the fish submit to you. That is what “rule over the fish” means (See Gen 1:26). So, what Jesus showed his disciples was not the fish but the power over the fish! (Anything you don’t control, you lose it. So, when they lost control over the fish, they lost it. They struggled, because they don’t have it).

Jesus Christ did not give his disciples the fish… but he showed them that they have the power over the fish! You don’t have to seek the fish, instead, you seek your power over the fish. What we lost today was not the fish, there are many fishes in the sea, but what we lost was the power over them. Man did not lose wealth because the bible says nothing is new under the sun.

Do not seek for fish, seek power over the fish

What we lost was the power to get the wealth. We did not lose our health. What we lost was the control over our health. Jesus was in total control of his health! He was never sick. He never went to the doctor for check-ups. He’s not just healthy, but in health.

When you have DOMINION, this is really the good news of the kingdom! The good news of the kingdom means not for the benefit of the government but it means for the benefit of the citizens. In most cases, the citizens do not benefit from their government. But when you say the good news of the kingdom, its main concern is the welfare of its citizens and the benefit of its people.

The good news of the kingdom is the only message of Jesus Christ while he was here on earth 2000 years ago. He had no other teachings. This is also the message he gave his disciples to preach to the whole world. This is the message in which Satan is afraid of because he is perfectly aware that anyone who preaches this message is numbering his days here on earth. Likewise, anyone who preaches this message about the kingdom is also numbering Jesus Christ’s days in heaven.

“And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”

(Matthew 24:14)

Jesus Christ is waiting for his Church to preach this message so he would finally come. If you preach a message other than this, you are only prolonging Jesus Christ’s stay in heaven. Also, if you preach a message other than this, you are giving Satan more time to continue his evil works here on earth. (In Satan’s congregation, at the altar, Matthew 24:14 is posted. Satan has warned his “agents” to watch out for anyone who preaches this message and prevent them from doing so. Satan knows that when the gospel of the kingdom is finally preached to all nations, his reign here on earth will finally come to an end.)

The good news of the kingdom is the only message that will unite the Body of Christ. There is no other message except the good news of the kingdom. Many churches have desperately tried to unite the Body of Christ through many ways, but all to no avail. Indeed, it is not the act that brings unity to the Body of Christ but the message.

It is not the act that brings the end, but it’s the message–the good news of the kingdom.
